Art applications for Social Integration: art, therapy and inclusion

The Research Group "Art applications for Social Integration: art, therapy and inclusion" belongs to the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain. Its main objective comprehends art education with population art risk of exclusion, and art against discrimination. The group actively works on developing new methodologies in art education from a feminist, post-colonialist and constructionist perspective, using Art Therapy techniques and fundamentals. Its realms of work are educational, social, clinical and cultural settings. Most of the members of the group are at the same time professors of the Master on Art Therapy and Art Education for Social Inclusion. In 2010 has received the Rosa Regas Award for educational material with gender perspective, given by the Community of Andalucia, Spain.
